  Clear View House is our own private home! When we are not using it, because we travel a lot and because we go to see our children and grand children, we love to share it with others. And you can get in on the opportunity we offer.

Clear View House is a charming Victorian residence in the heart of the Breckenridge Historic District. The location is fantastic. The house is just 4 blocks from Main Street which makes for an easy walk to everything, including the local Speakeasy Movie Theater,  the Breckenridge Arts Center, Carter Park (known for its  gatherings of local people and their dogs),  and all the wonderful shops and restaurants on Ridge and Main Streets.

There is  free bus service to the ski slopes and to the center of town with the nearest stop just 2 blocks away. This is the "Breckenridge Blue Bus Route"  on French Street. The bus runs between Peaks 8 and 9 in both directions with  three stops every  hour. Thus you have six opportunities every hour from about 7:00 am. The ride to the slopes varies and is about 10 to 15 minutes.

The four bedrooms, three and a half baths provide ample space for 8 to 10 people.

Antique accents and original art enhance the attractive, sun-filled decor. Two gas fireplaces and individual room thermostats ensure your comfort. There are large closets and dressers for stowing your gear.

The Main floor of the home has the Kitchen, Dining area, Living Room, Powder Room, and Laundry.

The Lower Level  "Skier's Suite" features a Family Room, Bedroom with king-size bed, and Full Bathroom.

Upstairs has the Master Bedroom and bath, two additional Bedrooms, and one Full Hall Bathroom.


We, Mary Lou Johns and John Rynes, are the owners of this home. We use it ourselves about five months of the year. We love our home and we love sharing it with visitors.  If you rent it, you will be renting directly from us and not from a "management company". What this means to you is that you will be paying a rate which is 25% to 45% less than you would pay for a comparable house in Breckenridge.
